Terms of use

By using this website you accept the following terms. They are governed by Spanish law; nothing in them limits rights you have as a consumer under Scots law.

1. Nature of the service

The site reorganises public Edinburgh Gazette notices so they can be searched by company, council area, court and procedure. It is a reading aid. The Gazette notice itself remains the authoritative text.

2. No advice

Nothing here is legal advice, insolvency advice or a credit reference. Whether a company is still trading, has been dissolved or has had a petition dismissed must be checked with the official sources and, where money is at stake, with a solicitor or a licensed insolvency practitioner.

3. Accuracy

Classifications (procedure, council area, court, firm) are made automatically from the notice text and can be wrong or incomplete. Council areas are approximations based on the registered office's postcode district.

4. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site or from its temporary unavailability.

5. Re-use

Underlying notices are Crown copyright and may be re-used under the Open Government Licence. Our own text, layout and compilations may not be scraped or mirrored in bulk.
