About the Scottish Insolvency Monitor
The Scottish Insolvency Monitor reads the corporate insolvency section of The Edinburgh Gazette (thegazette.co.uk) every working day and rebuilds it as one page per company. Each page lists the company's notices in date order, the court (Court of Session or a sheriff court) where one is named, the office-holder's firm and a link back to every original notice. On 27 Oct 2026 it was following 1917 companies.
Who it is for
Trade creditors waiting on an unpaid invoice, landlords, credit controllers, journalists covering Scottish business and anyone who has just been told that a supplier "has gone into liquidation". The Gazette publishes the facts; this site sorts them by company, council area, court and procedure so they can be read at a glance.
What is included
- petitions to wind up a company presented to the Court of Session or a sheriff court, and the interim or provisional liquidators the court appoints;
- creditors' voluntary liquidations, from the winding-up resolution to the liquidator's appointment;
- members' voluntary liquidations — solvent closures, flagged as solvent on every page where they appear;
- administrations and receiverships, calls for claims, intended dividends and final meetings.
What is not included
Nothing about individuals. Sequestrations, protected trust deeds and other personal insolvency processes administered by the Accountant in Bankruptcy are published in different Gazette categories; we do not download them at all. Partnerships and LLPs appear only when the notice sits in the corporate category.

This is a private information service.
